Elementary Curriculum
The Elementary Program has been designed for students in Early Kindergarten through 3rd grade, where children foster a love of learning in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment.
Mendham Country Day School maintains a rigorous and challenging curriculum for all students, while recognizing that students come to the school with different learning styles. We acknowledge and value the difference in our students. Teachers work to meet the needs of individuals through whole group, small group or individualized instruction.
Mendham Country Day School is a community-based on a partnership between students, parents, teachers and administration. The faculty is composed of loving and caring individuals who model learning each day. Teachers support the students academically, socially and emotionally. Our close-knit classroom community in the lower grades is built through respect. All elementary school students participate in the Hour of Code. This program allows students to develop critical thinking and problem solving skills through self-paced computer programming tasks.
"Mendham Country Day School's early kindergarten curriculum combined with their experienced and caring faculty delivers the perfect balance of fun and education everyday for our son to learn and grow. The results - amazing personal growth for him, beyond what we imagined, without our son feeling pushed or dreading school. When your son runs through those doors every morning with a smile and comes running back to you in the afternoon with the same smile and so much to share, you know you have found someplace special."
