Children entering PreK-3 need to be 3 years old and completely "potty trained" by September 15th of the school year. At this level the children are introduced to the upper and lower case alphabet, beginning sounds, numbers to 50, math, science, social studies, Spanish, and computer skills.
Development of interpersonal relationships and a sense of community are very important in the preschool years. We embrace each child individually, nurturing a zest for learning, a willingness to take risks, and above all, a sense of curiosity about the world around us. We instill in the children a sense of respect for and an awareness of the needs of the school community. We help them become group learners, effective problem solvers, thoughtful decision-makers and good citizens.
